I know that you're supposed to "be yourself," but honestly that's easier said than done. You have to have an in to just be yourself and get noticed. You have to be in class, and be placed in the same group together. You have to have a common friend, who gets you two together. You have to have a blog and hope that she reads it and can kind of figure out who you are.
And even then it isn't easy.
But if you don't have an "in" and are trying to make that first impression that leads to a second, and a third ... it's difficult. Women these days are more "no bullshit" than ever it seems like. So you have to sort of be cooler than you are, just so you can actually get a chance to show them how you are.
You know if they'd just give you a chance to spend time with them that they'd see how cool you are. How much they would love to spend time with you.
But that chance doesn't really come ...
